Search For Water

I’m a backpacker. I love the mountains. There have been times in late August that I’ve had to go searching for water. I remember one in particular time, I was alone and it was getting dark, I finally found water. As I drank, I started thinking about who else might be looking for water and food… Bears? Mountain Lions? 

This was a once in a lifetime experience for me but it hit me that for some, it is an everyday experience. The water I found was clean and clear. Many risk their lives for water that may, in fact, bring sickness and death!
