Day 53: Cornwall to Montreal – 112 KM
Our first 20 km was along the shore of the St. Lawrence River and some of that was on cycling paths. What a great way to start the day! Because our route continued to follow the course of the river it was largely flat or downhill.
After crossing into Quebec, Mike and Timo decided to try a short cut on a bike path. Classic to most short cuts, they reconnected with the RV for lunch about 15 minutes after Rob and Gabe!
We left Ontario behind and crossed into Quebec. This picture of the spiral bike path is our entrance to the Island of Montreal.
We cycled another 18 km to our host for the night. Our hosts, Loni and Andy welcome us and gave us access to their pool. What a treat!
