Things are coming together for Cycling4Water 2016! From July 28 to August 16, Rob will be cycling the part of Canada he missed in 2014 because of his accident, and Timo will be joining him! They’ll be cycling 2800 km in 20 days, starting in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba and finishing in Quebec City, Quebec.
God is blessing the preparations. Timo is loaning the use of his RV as support vehicle, and another volunteer, Alain, will be joining as a driver. Half the team sponsorship funding has already come in thanks to a very generous donation from Wills Transfer. And the team has already seen two wells pledged!
This year’s total goal is to raise $85,000 to supply another ten wells that will provide clean drinking water and transform daily life for another 10, 000 African villagers.
Some are asking what it takes to pull off a project like this. The next blogs will answer that question.
