TODAY, one child dies every two minutes from a water-related disease.

Lack of access to clean water and sanitation kills children at a rate equivalent to a jumbo jet crashing every 12 hours. One out of nine people on this planet or 785 million people, are still without access to clean, disease free drinking water. The deaths of 720 children each day can be prevented if they had clean water.

But it doesn’t have to be this way!

Often, just 80 meters below their feet are aquifers of pure, disease-free drinking water. By providing one deep-capped water well, we can help to break the cycle of disease and death and transform communities for a lifetime. Cycling 4 Water is partnering with the Global Aid Network Canada to help bring this life saving water to those who desperately need it.
