We said good bye to our amazing hosts in Steinbach. Thank you Sheldon and Julie! Our day started with sunshine and a gentle breeze at our backs! We headed north out of Steinbach to reconnect with the Trans Canada. Fog and rain moved in for a short time.

The blue skies returned and very quickly we left the prairies behind. As we approached the Ontario border trees, rocks and lakes took over the landscape. The flat roads also turned into rolling hills.

Crossing into Ontario feels good. We met another cyclist, Moni, who is also headed to Halifax from Edmonton so we captured crossing the border with her. As you can see, Rob has rejoin our team. He will make a gradual re-entry to the team this week.

Tonight we are being hosted at a cabin at Rice Lake. We had a swim and a sunset boat ride. Thank you Don and Irene!
