Days 64, 65, 66, 67: Wrapping Up

Days 64, 65, 66, 67: Wrapping Up

Day 64: With a great sense of satisfaction, Rob, Timo and Gabe flew home on Monday: Gabe to Ottawa, ON, Rob to Gatineau, QC and Timo to Mission, BC. Mike and Lyndon remained in Halifax to ship bikes and to have the promotional wrap removed from the RV. The unwrapping process was delayed and the job was not be finished till Tuesday.

Day 65: When Mike and Lyndon picked it up they were disappointed with the quality of the workmanship so invested about 4 hours cleaning the exterior for the new owner.

Day 66: On Wednesday, they delivered the RV and flew home to BC: Mike to Abbotsford and Lyndon to Kelowna.

Day 67: Thursday the whole team was home after more than two months away! The day happens to be a new federal statutory holiday: The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. You may be interested to know that one of the wells we have raised funds for will be called: Every Child Matters Memorial. It will be a memorial well to the Indigenous children that were buried in unmarked graves. We feel that providing a well that will save the lives of children is a beautiful way to memorialize the children who lost their lives.
